Crime Patrol (E.C.)

    (E.C., 1948-1950)
™ and © William M. Gaines, Agent
Series continued from International Crime Patrol #6, continues as Crypt of Terror (E.C.) #17

The E.C. Pre-Trend title was a continuation of International Crime Patrol, which was a continuation of International Comics. Many of the covers carried the notice “REAL stories from POLICE records!” But the title began an evolution into the horror field with #15, which featured the first appearance of E.C.’s Crypt-Keeper, created by Al Feldstein. With the 17th issue, it became The Crypt of Terror.
