Heroes Against Hunger

    (DC, 1986)
™ and ©1986 DC Comics, Inc.

DC pulled together the best of its talent to put together this book, and all proceeds from its sale went to relieve hunger in Africa.

In the story, Superman and Batman are doing their best to help Ethiopia, but they’re face-to-face with the allegorical Master. The Master finds his strength in places that once supported life but now have died. He would love nothing better than to play a tune and have Ethiopia turn to waste.

The two super-heroes have to turn to science in order to turn things around, finding an unlikely, but excellent, ally in super-villain mastermind Lex Luther. But even if they defeat the Master, can they save a country which has had its once-rich farmland destroyed by greed and neglect?
