Wildstorm Halloween ’97

In 1997, Wildstorm released this one-shot special featuring three of its most popular teams in a series of horrifying situations. It starts off with Team 7 in a story called “Blood and Faith.” Here, members of the elite military strike force have been sent to Mexico to put down the revolution in the early 1970s. The fight takes them to a ruined temple where one of the revolutionaries has enlisted help from beyond this world to give him deadly aid in his cause.

The Gen13 story, “…When All the Freaks Come Out” follows. Here, the gang decides to spend the holiday out nightclubbing. It only figures that this bunch will wind up as the intended sacrifices of a group of latter-day demon worshippers.

Finally, Wetworks’ “Berzerker” pits Wetworks against a group of vampires, and possesses their leader with the spirit of a long-dead berzerker.
