OJ’s Big Bust Out

    (Boneyard, 1995)
™ and ©1995 Hart D. Fisher

Boneyard Press loves to skewer celebrities du jour with controversial, satirical, and downright rude titles such as Jeffrey Dahmer vs. Jesus Christ, Jeffrey Dahmer vs. Kurt Cobain in Hell, Kill Image, and Rush Limbaugh Must Die. The media spectacle surrounding the O.J. Simpson criminal trial in the mid–90s made the former football star a natural target for Southern California–based Boneyard Press, which published a string of O.J. titles, including Doin’ Time with O.J. and OJ’s Big Bustout.

In this title, O.J. Simpson breaks out of jail, only to find his circumstances much worse on the outside. There he has to deal with demons who want to take him to hell, white supremacists who want to kill him, rabid TV news journalists who all want an exclusive interview, and God’s “great balls of fire.” Includes verdict trading cards (some assembly required).
