The former owner of the Tinkletoy Company was, to put it mildly, a little senile. One day, he wandered into a reception room to read the huge stack of ancient magazines, and traded control of the company to a kid in exchange for a shoeshine box.

The kid, O.G. Whiz, had suddenly come to realize every kid’s dream: owning his own toy company, complete with all the toys he could ever desire, a squadron of yes-men who told him his every idea was brilliant, and a dutiful secretary who made sure not to allow any visitors when he was in the middle of his afternoon conference with “Mr. Snooze”—doing sleep research. The only fly in the ointment was the embittered son of the original president, who held a deep resentment for the two-foot-tall tyke who had suddenly become his boss.
