Li’l Red Stitch

™ and ©2003 Summertime Comic Books

Nine-year old Hope lives to listen to her Mama’s tales of ghost horses and Indians and things that haunt the Texas plains. Her favorite stories are about little Cassie the outlaw, who roamed the desert armed with only her bravery and a magical sewing kit. At first, Hope believes these stories are nothing more than tales told to explain the rumbling of thunder in the night, or the faded portrait of a young girl over her bed. But then Hope’s grandmother gives her a special lesson on sewing, and Hope finds that things become a just little more magical when she sews on her red stitches.

Li’l Red Stitch is a unique and charming book intended for all ages, especially younger readers.
