Little Jim-Bob Big Foot

    (Jump Back, 1996, 1998)
™ and ©1996 Doug Baron

Jim-Bob Bigfoot premiered in Jump Back Productions’ Sugar Ray Finhead #5. He soon became a popular character, driving long stories that threatened to upstage Sugar Ray Finhead, so indie writer and artist, Doug Baron, spun Jim-Bob off into his own series.

The book tells the tale of Jim-Bob Bigfoot, a lighthearted romp about a loincloth-clad prehistoric man with a modern attitude, his friends, and the land that they live in. With characters such as Sumo Swine, Ogremeister, Jim-Bob’s aunt Bessie and her hippie boyfriend, Bennie, there is plenty of tomfoolery and trouble to be had.

Utilizing black-and-white stories that entertain as well as illustrate meaningful points, Baron weaves a book erupting with life lessons and mature advice, masked by a youthful appearance and jovial tone.
