With four previous comic series to his credit, The Shadow returned in 1989 with The Shadow Strikes!

This longtime hero of pulp fiction leads a dual life. In his identity of Lamont Cranston, he is a high-flying playboy during the grim depression era. By night, however, he becomes The Shadow, a masked avenger who dispenses justice with a pair of blazing handguns. Over the years, the Shadow has built up a network of agents who serve his cause. Chief among them is his ladyfriend, debutante Margo Lane. She is perhaps the only person who knows the Shadow’s real identity.
