Flat Top

No, this is not a comic book based on one of Dick Tracy’s most memorable villains. Instead, Flat Top is one of the many characters that appeared in the Archie-inspired teenage comic book, Mazie. Almost all of the characters from Mazie got their own spin-off titles from Mazie Comics, and when Harvey took over the publishing duties, they were kept running, at least for a while. By the late 1950s, these books were all gone in favor of Harvey moving into the direction of their “Harvey World” titles featuring Casper and Richie Rich. This left the teen books to the likes of Archie.
