The Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love

    (DC, 1971-1972)
™ and ©1971 DC Comics, Inc.
Series continues in Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion #5

Part Gothic romance, part mystery, each issue of this series gave readers a full-length story featuring a damsel with a dark secret to uncover or hide. Such a story was “The Secret of the Missing Bride.” It was the tale of a young woman who examined her friend’s mysterious death and discovered that her friend had married into a family whose sinister secrets included neglected children and murdered in-laws, hidden in the rooms of their mansion.

After four issues, this series changed its format from romance/suspense to simply mystery, becoming simply “Forbidden Tales of Dark Mansion.”
