Star Wars: Jabba the Hutt

    (Dark Horse, 1995-1996, 1998)
™ and ©1995 Lucasfilm Ltd.

The folks at Dark Horse continue to expand their chronicles of the Star Wars universe, giving their readers more insight into the characters from the ever-popular movie trilogy. Finally, it’s Jabba the Hutt, the massively corpulent and obscenely gross smuggler who caused so many problems for Han Solo, who gets the spotlight.

Jabba struts (err…oozes…) his stuff, as he proves he’s the absolute best at what he does. It’s planning, not just money and mercenaries, that keeps him at the top of the Empire’s criminal world, and Jabba never, ever, leaves anything to chance. Knowing the weaknesses of his enemies (not to mention his friends), and always taking advantage of that knowledge, is what makes Jabba one of the most feared and successful criminals in the galaxy.
