Years ago five martial arts combatants were banished from the Temple of the Ghost Warriors for mysterious reasons. They are Tei Su, the Silken Ghost; Phan, the Lightning Ghost; Pang Kyoon, the Iron Ghost; Shih Yun, the Willow Ghost; and the cryptic unrevealed fifth ghost. Now Tei Su has been sent a message in a dream to return home. She is sure the others have also been called and her faith is upheld when the other three meet her at various points along her voyage. Each of the warriors’ strengths and abilities are revealed in the course of the journey back to their master. But the fifth ghost, whose sin was betrayal, remains absent.

The Silken Ghost is a five-issue miniseries spun off from Chuck Dixon’s Way of the Rat and a knowledge of that mythos would enhance the reader’s enjoyment of this title.
