The world is awash with zombies. Vacant-eyed, slack-jawed and moving with no will of their own, these shambling automatons stalk the living with an unvarying and terrifying persistence. Into this Deadworld tableau comes Tattoo, an aptly-named young woman who wields a gleaming sword and applies it with free-wheeling abandon. Sporting a large tattoo of a dragon-headed serpent and little else, this enigmatic warrior is on a mission to save her adopted world from the swarm of zombies controlled by body-hopping demons from the Otherworld. This motorcycle-riding paladin aids the few remaining warm-blooded humans with the surreptitious help of her pets, a pair of feral dog-beasts that cross the barrier from the Otherworld.
