Not satisfied with altering her own son Julius into the warrior Killpower (of Motormouth fame), Dr. Oonagh Mullarky undertook a number of other projects for the dread MyS-TECH corporation. Her latest was a squad of genetically altered beings, codenamed “Genetix.” Their old lives and memories had been burned away by Dr. Mullarky’s not-so-gentle ministrations. Then, clad in proto-silicon armor (developed as part of the Digitek project), they were transformed into a super-powered team, designed to serve MyS-TECH.

Unfortunately, the dear Dr. Mullarky had not been very careful with some of her previous work. As a result, the Genetix’ first major mission was to stop a series of genetically altered organisms from turning the sewers of London into a charnel pit. Complicating matters, Shevaun Haldane (Dark Angel) and the X-Men’s Wolverine were also on the trail of these organisms.
