Nowheresville first came to prominence in Negative Burn #33. It’s a Beat-era noir tale of murder featuring Detective Chic Mooney as he tries to get to the bottom of a series of murders. The prime suspect is Catherine “Cat” DiPrima, the television spokeswoman for Starlight cigarettes, and an old flame of Chic’s. She was a real beauty, but under the lovely exterior lurked the heart of a killer. For her, murder was a game…and the perfect murder…well, that was the swingingest good time there was!
