When last seen in the Evil Ernie (Eternity) series, Ernest Fairchild had been blown to bits by his former psycho-therapists, Doctors Mary Young and Leonard Price. Now, he exists only within a mindscape located inside the brain of Commissioner Stone—and even there he is dying.

Weakened to the point of collapse, Evil Ernie was unconscious when he was found by Lady Death. Lady Death took him into her tender care and restored his powers. Soon Ernie was ready to resume his mission of Megadeath—the murder of all living things. But before that could happen, Ernie had to escape the prison of Stone’s mind. As long as Stone lived, his body was beyond Ernie’s control…

…but living is just the sort of problem that Ernie excels at fixing.
