The Partridge Family

    (Charlton, 1971-1973)
™ and ©1973 Columbia Pictures, Inc.

Definitely one of the “grooviest” comic book titles ever created, The Partridge Family is a must-have for fans of the make-believe band and 1970s nostalgics alike. Each issue has a brand-new adventure starring the members of America’s favorite singing family (even though the family in question was created by a television casting director).

Unusual for comics of the time, The Partridge Family typically has only a few panels per page. The extra room is used for lots and lots of starry-eyed close-ups of each of the Partridge family members, especially heart-throbs David Cassidy and Susan Dey. Issues also reprinted the lyrics to Partridge Family songs, so that fans could sing along with their records or 8-track tapes.
