Queen of the Damned (Anne Rice’s…)
(Innovation, 1991-1994)
™ and ©1976, 1993 Anne O’Brien Rice
This twelve-part series brings readers back into the dark world of the Vampire Lestat. In this underworld of bloodlusts and never-ending unlife, a power struggle was being waged among the undead. Lestat may have been the king—or rather, prince—of vampires, but an unholy queen was arising to slay his friends and enemies alike, and to assert her own claim on his soul.
Queen of the Damned was the sequel to Anne Rice’s cult favorite novel Interview with the Vampire. Both found publication in comic book form with Innovation Comics in the early 1990s. Around the same time, Interview was made into a major motion picture.
