Dollman (Mini-Series)

Other than the obvious similarity in size, the star of this four-issue mini-series bears no real relation to the character from the 1940s’ Feature Comics. This Dollman is Brick Bardo, a 13-inch tall crimefighter from the planet Arturos. While considered rather tall and good-looking by Arturosian standards, Brick comes up just a little, (ahem!) short compared to humans.

Brick traveled to Earth to chase down a criminal named Sprug. Sprug had caused the death of Brick’s family back on Arturos, and it’s a matter of honor that Brick brings him to justice. On Earth, Sprug had been using Arturosian technology to manufacture a drug named Blaze. This drug, in small doses is merely addictive. In large doses, it actually causes the user to spontaneously combust. Brick, who has the strength of a full-sized human, as well as a 598.6 Ruger, “the most powerful handgun in the known universe,” won’t stop until he brings Sprug down for good.
