™ and ©1999 DC Comics

Before Metropolis, Lois Lane, and the Daily Planet, a young man named Clark Kent set out on a journey to Paris to find himself. Given abilities beyond those of mortal men, Clark is searching for a way to make peace with his superhuman differences, rather than deny and hide them.

While in Paris, Clark meets the beautiful Terri Chung, daughter of the Rhana Bhutra, the country of Bhutran’s highest religious figure. After a frightening incident, Clark and Terri travel together to Bhutran to meet her father, and discover a small Himalayan country on the verge of being overrun by the Communist Chinese army.

Will Clark come to terms with his powers in time to face the invading Chinese army? And what effect will the country’s turmoil, and Clark’s friendship with Terri, have on the rest of Superman’s life?
