This 136-page mostly black and white volume reprints several obscure Mr. Monster stories from Dark Horse Presents, A-1, and Crack-a-Boom! as well as three new stories—including some work with Keith Giffen—and a trove of background material including introductions to every story, a Mr. Monster checklist, industry insider perspective pieces, unpublished Mr. Monster newspaper strips, and several pages of original pin-up art.

George Evans, artist of E.C.’s early-1950s Tales from the Crypt, writes the introduction, and Gilbert offers a professional biography and shares his perspective on comics industry implosion of the early 1990s.
