The Jam: Super Cool Color-Injected Turbo Adventure from Hell!

    (COMICO, 1988)
™ and © COMICO, the Comic Company

A great idea that had trouble finding a home, Bernie Mireault’s saga of The Jam has seen light at Slave Labor, Dark Horse, and finally Caliber Comics.

Here we learn the origin of the Jam. Kenny is just a normal guy who does good when he can and handles the day-to-day tragedies we call life with a smile and a level head on his shoulders. Of course, it’s fun to run around at night leaping from building to building with your very own “super-hero” jogging suit and trying to help people. Super powers would be nice, sure, but that’s only in fiction. Kenny and his faithful dog, Harvey, do what they must without letting his roommate Janet know just what they’ve been up to. And, as a result, the everyday guy on the street has someone on his side to help him or her out of their jams.
