Wendy, the Good Little Witch (Vol. 1)

™ and ©1975 Harvey Famous Cartoons

Wendy, the Good Little Witch doesn’t fit the stereotype of the bad fairy-tale witch. A kindhearted little girl, Wendy only good deeds with her magic. This causes great disappointment for her aunts, the traditionally haggard-looking Witch Sisters. As a result, they frequently arrange for nasty tricks for Wendy and her friends. Wendy’s good nature always wins out in the end, however, with a little help from her own magic.

Originally, a television cartoon, Wendy’s adventures translated well to comic book form. Fellow cartoon star Casper the Friendly Ghost also made frequent appearances in this series.
