The Tick, that azure defender of all things good and just, is kidnapped by aliens and put in charge of a team of representatives of Earth—including Cleopatra, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, and a 1950s TV super-hero actor—that must win a bizarre interplanetary competition. If they lose, their home planet will suffer for their loss. Lots of pressure, eh? Well, it’s all done with a wink in this fun title from New England Comics. The Tick is his typical lovable, goofy self in this series that takes place outside of the continuity of the Blue Bug’s regular title.
