New Adventures of the Phantom Blot (Walt Disney’s…)

    (Gold Key, 1964-1966)
™ and ©1964 Walt Disney Productions

The Phantom Blot was the mysterious scourge of the Disney universe, a catch-all rogue who tormented the likes of Donald Duck, Uncle Scrooge, Mickey Mouse, Goofy and the rest of the gang. The Phantom Blot is covered head-to-toe in a black sheet and is seen only as a featureless silhouette with two menacing eyes. Sneaky and slippery, the Blot is often thwarted but never captured, and his hi-jinx are always the cause of good-humored mayhem and confusion. The Phantom Blot starred in his own series in the mid-60s with frequent cameo appearances by the top-of-the-marquee Disney names.
