Chris Howells is having a very unusual day. Chris has been with his girlfriend Emma for two years now, and she makes him miserable. Things got worse tonight when Emma killed a man to save a stray dog. Back home and still in shock from the night’s events, Chris is attacked by a group of armed men. Trapped in his bathroom, he is rescued by a mysterious woman who appears from nowhere and takes him to another plane of existence.

Chris’s rescuer, known only as Window, explains that they are in a place of pure ideas, created by her in a moment of “pure sanity.” She explains that she needs him as an anchor to reality. Unbeknownst to Window, Chris is meant for much more. Without Chris, reality itself is doomed to collapse.
