This three-issue limited series from writer Warren Ellis (The Authority, StormWatch) and artist Chris Weston (2000 A.D., Time Breakers) chronicles the development of the British space program in an alternate universe from our own. In this tale that jumps from 2001 to various points in the recent past, Sir John Dashwood begins his quest to create the Ministry of Space in the wake of World War II by preventing the Americans and the Russians from acquiring rocket technology from the Germans. From there, a meeting with Winston Churchill allows him to doggedly pursue what will become a lifelong obsession: getting a man into space and conquering the stars. Exciting stuff from two of the United Kingdom’s most talented exports.
