Written and drawn by Ty Templeton, this graphic novel explores the quest for fame through the eyes of a homeless man named Lester Biggs. When Biggs meets his guardian angel Stavros, he basically blackmails him into assisting his efforts to become a star. Templeton shows how insensitive and shallow people can be in their desire to become a celebrity. Odd, colorful characters that aren’t what they seem to be on the surface populate Bigg Time, just as they do in Hollywood. Templeton writes with a bitingly humorous tone that is typical of his work.
