Atomic Mouse (A+)
(A+, 1990)
Atomic Mouse is, like Mighty Mouse, a funny-animal descendant of Superman. He is an atomic–powered mouse who regularly saves the day for his barnyard admirers by foiling the plans of Gatto and Shadow a couple of ne’er–do–well cats that are more klutzy than crafty.
Atomic Mouse was originally published by Charleton in the 1950s and then reprinted in the 1980s, once again by Charleton. In 1990 A+ obtained the rights to reprint these whimsical stories and even retained the “Charleton Comics Give You More” slogan at the top of the some of the pages.
