Pakkins’ Land (Vol. 2)
(Alias, 2005)
™ and © Alias
Once upon a time, a young man named Paul went exploring in a section of woods neither he nor any of his friends had ever explored. There he found a wounded bird which became a mighty golden eagle, leaving Paul a golden feather to guide him on his way. Paul meet other inhabitants of the land, many of whom were animals with the power of speech. Only with Paul’s help could they save the king of Pakkins’ Land and keep the populace in safety once more.
Gary Shipman originally published Pakkins’ Land under the Caliber Comics “Tapestry” imprint for sixteen issues beginning in 1996. Four trade paperbacks were released between 2000 and 2003. In late 2004, Alias purchased the series with the goal of releasing it in full color.
