New World Order

In the modern world, the old gods have been increasingly forgotten, replaced by the gods of technology and science. Then one day, not so far in the future, the old gods would have their revenge. By pooling their energies, they managed to send one of their number—Satan—into our world in corporeal form. Satan quickly raised armies to do his bidding, and killed enemies by the millions in a slaughter that made Hitler’s concentration camps look tame by comparison. And this was only the beginning of the Dark Times…and the New World Order.

Daniel Reed scripts and draws New World Order for his own Blazer Studios. Although the covers may not draw the attention of a jaded comic reader, this is one of the most innovative comics available today. Reed creates an entire world while avoiding the same tired stereotypes. In many ways, his ability to create mythologies is reminiscent of the best efforts of the great Jack Kirby himself.
