This four-issue limited series is based on a popular video game from Atari. It is set in an apocalyptic future, where humanity has been reduced to savagery and violent, monstrous gods have risen from the depths of the earth. Basically, it’s an all-out battle book—god versus god, with lowly humans caught in the middle. The narrative is straightforward, and the artwork is more than solid. Action is the main goal of Primal Rage, and writer Chris Knowles and artist Kevin Rasel deliver it in spades.
