Although a staple of Disney’s theme park rides since 1969, the Haunted Mansion didn’t spawn a movie until 2004 and now over 35 years later, an anthology comic book series. In the same vein as other horror anthologies such as Tales From the Crypt, this is a more light-hearted attempt in order to be acceptable for Disney approval. It’s still very fun and contains guest appearances from the stable of Slave Labor Graphics’ other characters such as Lenore.
