Ernest Fairchild had been abused as a child, but as a member of the undead, he’s getting his revenge. Thanks to a scientific experiment gone awry and an encounter with Lady Death, Ernest is now Evil Ernie, an unstoppable monster whose goal is to murder the world.

As this series begins, Ernie’s old psycho-therapist, Dr. Price, hit upon an idea to end Ernie’s rampage once and for all. Ernie’s leather jacket is adorned with a smiley-face button which in some manner embodies Ernie’s childhood imaginary friend. It is through this button that Ernie receives his power, and by separating him from it, Dr. Price manages to incapacitate Ernie. But as anyone can tell you, it’s hard to keep a bad man down.
