Elektra: Assassin

    (Epic, 1986-1988)
™ and ©1986 Marvel Entertainment Group

Elektra was easily one of Marvel’s greatest characters, a female assassin that lit up the pages of Daredevil from her first appearance in issue #168 to her death in issue #181. Although her origin was sketched out in Daredevil, this series goes far deeper, delving into her own psyche to show how an innocent girl became transformed into an instrument of death.

Elektra: Assassin was written by Elektra’s creator, Frank Miller, and painted by the masterful Bill Sienkiewicz. The result is a comic tour de force that’s almost impossible to put down.
