Edge is the story of a genetic engineer and his son who attempt to harness the powers of science to benefit mankind, only to unleash a fearsome wave of unintended consequences on the world. The Ultimates, a band of morally-ambiguous costumed adventurers: Will Power, Barricade, Winged Victory, Free Agent, Intruder, and Phase Shifter—try to impose their vision of justice on an unwilling society, and only the genetic engineer’s other son, Edge, can stop them and make his father and brother face up to their responsibility for their creations.

Edge is a four-issue mini-series written by Steven Grant and illustrated by veteran artist Gil Kane. Grant’s tight script and Kane’s slick, action-packed artwork keep Edge rocking along at a blistering pace.
