This comic of tough men doing a tough job in astoundingly huge robot-like devices was part of a 1980s wave of comics based on role playing games.

In the far future, a group of mechwarriors who lost their weapons in battle have become the lowest of the low, moping in the desert and waiting out the war. When a chance for redemption is offered in the form of a suicide mission, they leap at the chance. Unfortunately, when they survive, the rules of this harsh culture require them to commit actual suicide in order to retain the honor of the house. Now they must decide: run and fight, or die like sheep. A Judas in their midst doesn’t make matters any easier.
