The Mighty Avengers are a loose-knit team of some of Marvel’s mightiest heroes, including Captain America, Thor, the Vision, Giant-Man, Hercules, and plenty of others. They’ve been around in various permutations since 1963. Avengers Unplugged is a spinoff title designed to give readers more of their favorite super-hero action every month, at a bargain cover price (99¢) relative to other titles on the stands.
The bimonthly Avengers Unplugged series debuted in late 1995 along with a number of other, low cost, “unplugged” titles including Fantastic Four Unplugged.
