Batman: Gordon’s Law
(DC, 1996-1997)
™ and ©1996 DC Comics, Inc.
Normally Commissioner Gordon is grateful for Batman’s involvement in difficult police department cases. But the long-unsolved robbery of the Federal Reserve that resulted in the death of fellow officers has Gordon telling Batman to back off or be subject to arrest. Writer Chuck Dixon (Batman: GCPD) delivers another powerful story of crime in Gotham City, but this time Gotham’s top cop takes center stage.
New information about the robbery has eroded James Gordon’s faith as the worst possibility seems to be true; rogue cops were behind the heist. Now Gordon must solve this case on his own. He won’t use assistance from Batman because good cops bring down bad cops, and he doesn’t know who can be trusted within the department. Gordon must use all facilities at his disposal and call in favors to bring the guilty police officers to justice.
