Babylon 5

    (DC, 1995)
™ and ©1995 DC Comics, Inc.

In the 23rd century, Earth reached for the stars, but initial alien contacts resulted in devastating wars. After almost total defeat, the quest for peace finally began, with the creation of a vast space station to function as neutral territory.

Administered by Earthforce, Babylon 5 soon becomes the focal point for almost all interstellar activity. Which, of course, makes it a very exciting, and dangerous place. The politics and conflicts between alien worlds is not all that much different than between countries, and the road to peace is always full of red tape. But the reappearance of two mysterious elder races, beings with godlike abilities, is the only factor that seems to unify the various races. Earth, Minbar, and Centauri Prime become the mainstays in the conflict between the enigmatic Vorlons and the deadly Shadows.
