For lack of a better name, it’s called “Anti-Life”: the very force of death and destruction. In normal times, this force exists within its own realm, but to the universe’s horror, it has somehow managed to break into our world. Inhabiting the bodies of dead creatures, it has divided into parts and spread across the galaxy. Its mission: to destroy all life.

The Demon, Batman, The Martian Manhunter, Superman, Green Lantern, and the New Gods find themselves united, even with the malevolent Darkseid, in order to stop the Anti-Life. If they fail, it will trigger doomsday weapons that it has scattered across different worlds.

When it comes to star-spanning fiction, few writers can compare to Jim Starlin. Creator of outstanding titles such as Dreadstar and Warlock, he returns again to script this cosmic saga.
