The March Hare

The March Hare of the title is an imaginary rabbit that has entered the life of a professional killer. Released during the vigilante craze of the mid-80s when mainstream comic books started adopting a grim and gritty tone, The March Hare is not a parody of that trend but it can be seen as a reaction against it. The rabbit appears after a hitman, Milo, is assigned to take his brother’s life. However, after Milo kills his sibling he discovers that a bizarre hare had driven him to insanity, undergoing a carrot diet and using towels with images of rabbits. The hare then tries to make Milo lose his mind by firing a nuclear missile at his alarm clock, having Milo be a contestant on a game show while dressed as a pear, among other unusual activities.
