Bombastic

A self-published, one-man production, Bombastic is an attempt to provide a single writer/artist with the chance to flex his creative muscles in a variety of genres. “Wingnut and Fidget” is a science fiction serial with a cute cast of characters and a lighthearted attitude. “Ruckus” lampoons the super-hero genre with a star who cares as much about his public profile as he does defeating bad guys. “Bratterskain” takes things to a surreal level with a pair of psychiatric troubleshooters who travel around mending relationships (no, really). Finally, “Cascade” is a world where magical forces still hold sway and mythical creatures roam about in a society all their own. That doesn’t mean everyone fits in, however, and Elo the troll finds himself on the run, eventually falling in with a snake oil salesman. All scripts and artwork are by Brian Clopper, who has also published children’s books like Monsters in Boxers.
