Here is the classic story of boy meets girl, boy falls in love, girl spurns boy and all hell ensues. Well, sort of. Add in the fact that the boy is a hard-wired computer/comic geek, the girl is a gorgeous bombshell who happens to live across the hall and the fact that they both receive superpowers from a freak accident involving a TV-camera-shlocking hero and a world-dominating alien and you get the idea behind Opposing Forces. This light-hearted look at every comic fan’s ultimate dream come true is funny and well drawn in a simple cartoony style. Will the nerd get the fox?
