The Amalgam Age of Comics: The DC Comics Collection

    (Amalgam, 1996)
™ and ©1996 DC Comics and Marvel Characters, Inc.

After joint publications such as The Wizard of Oz, Superman vs. the Amazing Spider-Man and Batman vs. the Incredible Hulk, Marvel and DC Comics again decided to join forces and create a fictitious company name called Amalgam that featured hybrid characters based on separate Marvel and DC properties (example: Marvel’s Howard the Duck and DC’s Lobo became “Lobo the Duck”). The Amalgam issues appeared as separate titles over a period of a couple months and then were eventually compiled into this book.
