Lucy Show
(Gold Key, 1963-1964)
™ and © Western Publishing Company, Inc.
I Love Lucy was a hit comedy series from 1951-1960. When Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s marriage imploded, the couple divorced and they went their separate ways: Desi to become a full time producer and Lucy to star in The Lucy Show, which ran from 1962-1968. Lucy brought along her old pal Vivian Vance from the I Love Lucy days, but the same spark wasn’t there. Sure, it was fun to see Lucy and Viv get into the same kind of predicaments as before, but without Desi and William Frawley along, it wasn’t quite the same chemistry, though both the show and this comic book had their humorous moments.
