Nightwing: The Hunt for Oracle
(DC, 2003)
™ and © DC Comics
Barbara Gordon, the former Batgirl, enjoys her new role as Oracle, the computer expert and Internet Robin Hood of the DC Universe. Her skills have allowed her free access to the ill-gotten gains of Blockbuster, Bludhaven’s top crime boss. Tired of being humiliated by Oracle’s thefts, Blockbuster dispatches a team of costumed goons to capture Bludhaven’s resident hero, Nightwing, to torture him for information on Oracle. And all Nightwing needs is one more problem—as if his copycat stalker, Nite-Wing, the psychotic villain Torque, and his day job as a police officer isn’t enough. With Blockbuster’s hired goons closing in, it will take every trick in Nightwing’s considerable arsenal, along with help from Black Canary, to protect Oracle’s identity. Not to mention her life.
The Hunt for Oracle trade paperback compiles Birds of Prey #20-21 and Nightwing #41-46.
