Chaos reigns in the Bundy household as Kelly auditions for a role in the school play. Unfortunately, rival Mary gets the starring role, and all Kelly can get is a bit part as a blade of grass. Her only line: “Awk! Awk! Here come the wombats!” Needless to say, Kelly is miffed.

Meanwhile, Bud has joined the stage crew, just so he can be close to his newest unrequited love, Mary. Although she refers to him as “whelp” and treats him like an errand boy, Bud swears he’ll protect her to the death. So when Kelly plots her revenge, she’s got to go through Bud to do it!
