My advice to you: don’t read this book while eating, or under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs. It won’t mix well. Some of the paintings contained herein are either disgusting or downright scary, but Dave Cooper’s art style is most definitely unique, featuring gratuitous paintings of cellulite, wrinkles, sagging female body parts and nudity. If there is a comparison, Cooper’s style reminds me strongly of the art style of Mark Marek (see The Rolling Stones’ Dirty Work album inner sleeve). So, if you have the stomach for strong visuals, this would be the art book to pick up!
