Myron Gillis was thinking of jumping off a bridge until Death came by to make the job easier. Myron had a change of heart and was running away until Death’s sister, Taxes, took over and gave Myron a grand tour of what was eternal in life. But Myron found out that Taxes can eat you out of house and home in a relatively short time.

Tatsuya Ishida’s illustrations are beautiful in Nat Gertler’s parody of Vertigo’s Death: The High Cost of Living mini-series.
